Workshop: Technology-based Science
8:30AM - 11:30AM - Room 006 C
Traditional lab reports consist of typed or hand-written documentation of data, results and analysis of laboratory investigations. Participants will learn how to use emergent technologies with students that make laboratory analysis and delivery of results more meaningful through enhancing their communication skills and working collaboratively with their peers. Participants will learn how to use Powerpoint, Inspiration, iMovie / MovieMaker, and Notebook to create digital laboratory write-ups for their science classrooms. We will show participants how to tie their content, curriculum and technology together in meaningful ways that allow them to address both science standards and technology standards.
